Love Parade Festival in Germany Turns into a Disaster with Stampede

The Love Parade festival is an annual Electronic dance music festival and parade that has been celebrated in Germany since in 1989. But on 2009 edition in Bochum it was being cancelled due to the Council of Bochum did not want the problems associated with the festival – litter, private security, noise pollution.

But this year the festival has been carried on but the supposedly celebration of music, love and peace turns into a disaster when panic broke out among huge crowds in a roughly 600 meter long tunnel leading towards Love Parade festival in the German city of Duisburg.. At least 19 people have been killed and 80 injured in a stampede at the festival in the German city of Duisburg. The said event reached 1.4 million people attending, when the original expectation was around 800,000.

Seattle Cop Punches Woman – Police Brutality or Just Right?

Police Officers supposedly protect and not to attack, but the video here is different, you see a police officer Ian P. Walsh punch the girl on pink blouse on her face. The police shouldn’t hit her because as you can see in the video it wasn’t really a hard push from that lady.

But for the Police Officer, he merely used common procedure to control the woman and since she refused to get arrested, of course the police officer should use force to control her by grabbing her arms and trying to get her handcuffed. But he can’t do it while the other girl keeps on pushing him, that’s obstruction of justice. What was he supposed to do then if that situation happened? Of course he shouldn’t just stand there and get pushed and being fought with.

I think, it should be right for that girl to get punched because she behaved that way towards a police officer who is just trying to make things better, but the situation is irrepressible because he is alone and the girl is refusing to get arrested during that time and the other one is interfering with the arrest.

I am not supporting police brutality here but that situation is not a police brutality. The police have the right to use force with that situation. Read the rest of this entry »

Vice Ganda exploded on Tado in Showtime

Alam ko medyo nakaka-offend yung sinabi or yung nakasulat sa t-shirt ni Tado, but Vice Ganda shouldn’t have reacted that way. Dami na nakahalata sa dahan-dahan na paglaki ng ulo ni Vice Ganda since nag start siyang sumikat sa Showtime. The way he delivers his comments to the contestants are mostly based on his feelings and not on the performance. Pasalamat siya he is a resident judge/host of the show but if not, this time I am sure BURADO na siya.

Kung may pangit na member sa isang grupo eh ang sarap ng feeling ni Vice manlait without even considering that person’s feelings, now here’s Tado indirectly calling the group’s performance as “gayish” and not the Gay society tapos agad nag-aalburuto itong si Vice Ganda. Now, alam na ni Vice Ganda kung ano ang feeling ng mga pangit na nilalait niya sa show. Sa pinakita niya sa episode na ito, nagsasabi lang na hindi siya magaling na HURADO kasi he is judging each performance based on his feelings. Like kung sumasayaw ang isang grupo, dahil sa tagal na niyang HURADO sa show eh nasusuka na daw siya sa pagsasayaw that will lead his judgement to kapangitan ng score. Sana nalang dahil nga sumasayaw ang isang grupo eh hahatulan nalang niya based sa performance ng group and not because they are just “dancing” AGAIN that he doesn’t value more highly to see on the show.

On Tado’s point naman by showing his shirt’s message “Di baleng magnakaw kay sa Mamakla” is a way of expressing himself in a funny way. Alam naman ng lahat kung sino si Tado, and alam natin na nagpapatawa lang siya just like what Vice Ganda always do on the show. So dapat lang na tinanggap or sinakyan nalang ni Vice Ganda ang sitwasyon na yun.

I am not against Vice Ganda and I am not also against Tado. What I don’t want is the way Vice reacted on Tado’s comments, which he (Tado) indirectly pointing the comment to the gay society or even to Vice Ganda.

I agree on someone’s comment on youtube that says:

“Yung sinabi ni tado na pang “GAY” it’s not against bakla,he is just using the “GAY” like weak or slow cause the dance group’s name is LAHI ng MATATAPANG so, dapat astig hindi weak, yun lng naman un eh.”

So, I hope this serves as a lesson learned to Vice Ganda and to everyone of us. I admired Vice Ganda for asking an apology the next day and to that hindi nabawasan ang paghanga ko sa kanya, sa pagiging pranka at totoo niya. Pero sana naman sa susunod, ok lang magpakatotoo siya pero titingnan rin naman sana niya kung may masasaktan o maaapektuhan siyang mga tao, specially sa show at sa buong mundo na nanonood. Kasi show yun eh, for the sake of the televiewers and to the live audiences sana he kept it between them nalang.

So, this is your show, this is your time… It’s….. SHOWTIME pa rin!

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Horrible Crash at Brno Circuit

Driver of Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 lost control and bumped into barriers of Brno Circuit.

According to the “rules”, There are strict rules and only extraction team can drag him out. WTF rule is that? The driver can burned and dead in seconds with the incident and those pathetic rescuers are still thinking about the rules? Life is at stake during the incident and they should prioritized it more than any rules. What they just did was trying to put out fires on the pavement rather than concentrating on getting the driver OUT OF THE CAR first.

Look at the idiot with extinguisher behind the barriers (0:38)

Reports say that the driver has a broken leg, second degree burns over 40% of his body, and is using a respirator to breathe. Throughout the net Rumors are starting that racers are boycotting The Czech Republic for all races until further notice due to the lack of proper medical and rescue training.

Brno Circuit is the largest and the most prestigious racing circuit in the Czech Republic and it is one out of 17 world-known circuits hosting the World motorcycle championship.
